USF food options: Subway and Chick fil A

USF’s food options are as diverse as they come.  They have a mix of healthy and unhealthy options.  The Student marshal center contains the most restaurants with Chick Fil A, Moe’s, Einstein Bagel Bros’, Papa John’s, Panda Express, Beef O’ Brady’s, On Top of the Palms, Jamba Juice, and Subway all available.  USF campus offers a wide range of food from Southwest Mexican to Chinese food.

Males, ages 19-30 years old, approximately 70 inches tall and 154 lbs., need almost 3,100 calories daily. Females of an average height and weight (64 inches tall and 126 lbs.) need just over 2,400 calories daily. The world health organization recommends 25 grams of sugar per day for an adult of average body mass.  Subway and Chick fil A both options where you don’t have to exceed these numbers

Their subway offers the subway club which only has 320 calories.  The meatball marinara has the most calories out of any of the subway sandwiches with 560 calories.

Check out the sodium column...

The classic chicken sandwich from chick fil A has 440 calories.  The grilled chicken sandwich only has 290 calories.  The student marshal center does not strictly limit you to fatty foods.
